Provide job training and placement in the communications industry for 60 low-income residents.

Outcomes
In development (launch set for 2010.)
Cabling trainees will take LATTC classes (ETNTLGY 252 Network Cabling Specialist & ETNTLGY 253 Fiber Optics), earning 6 college credit units and a Fiber Optics & Network Cabling Specialist Certificate of Completion.
Trainees will be placed in a 4-week work assignment, and be eligible for a $1,000 stipend.
Upon successful completion of all program requirements, cabling trainees will be eligible for hiring by the industry partner.
