Broadband Expansion for the Region

High speed Internet for dispersed rural communities

Objective
  • Provide high speed Internet for the small towns and unincorporated areas of the region, using Federal Stimulus funds and/or County Office of Education Funds to make services available to local school districts and community colleges.
  • These Internet services could then be made available to local cities, which could distribute high-speed Internet access broadly to the community, at low-cost or free.
